My Date with Afterlife

Thursday, August 20th, 2009

All weak hearts must avoid my article, as it is all about spirits and Afterlife and these powers can produce a menacing effect. Watching Afterlife TV show was like watching my own story. I am no stranger to the unknown. I have a great power of intuition and unexplainable physic abilities. I can feel the wandering souls. Some have a free ride to move anywhere, some are stuck at the same place crying for help, some seem inflicted by torture and misery, and some are too haunting to have a look at. It is the mystical and frightening world of Afterlife, which only a few can observe in real. All those who cannot observe these shadows must feel privileged that they managed to experience world of spirits via Afterlife TV show.

To me “Afterlife” was not a fictional drama series. No folks! Spirit world is not a fake imagination it exits for real. It exists on this planet as well as beyond. You must have got a testimony to my claims via various documentaries based on the mystery of existence of supernatural. Spirit is nothing but flexible and loosely bound field of energy. Our eyes are not capable enough to notify spirits. For us to see spirits we would need an enhanced field of vision but our eyes can observe only a limited area at a given time. We know dogs have great sense of smell, snakes can feel a small change in vibrations, eagle has eyes like binoculars, and lion can attack its prey with a great velocity. Therefore, we must have enhanced senses to feel something that is beyond contemplation.

Only gifted human beings can have a taste of Afterlife. The taste is both sweet and bitter. Afterlife is a means of knowing that there is life after death and our rightful or wrong acts determine our fate in spiritual world. For me to be charmed by “Afterlife” TV show was not difficult. It had a concept that has existed with me almost perpetually. I would end my thoughts by declaring that death is not the end of story, infact it is a pathway to eternal joy if one is just and rightful in his/her deeds.

Episode Review : A Name Written In Water

Tuesday, November 18th, 2008

Well guys some time back I was just read a review about the movie Afterlife and it reminded me of one of my most watched television shows by the same name. With no news about the show that ended nearly two years back, I just decided to review the highest ranked episode of the series. Well it turned out to be the 8th episode of the second season which was aired on 11th November 2006. I still remember rushing back from a party hosted by a friend, just to watch this episode, which was also the final episode of the season as well as the series. The episode got great reviews form both critics as well as general public and was the most watched episode of the series. I still feel tempted and watch the episode many times over.

The episode begins with Robert being in comma in the hospital. Alison on hearing the news, dashes off to see him. However when she reaches the hospital Jude is already there and is not at all happy to see Alison. While waiting in the hospital, for Robert to recover, Alison comes across a strange nurse making the rounds of the corridors and comes to know from the workers that she is rumored to be there at the hospital whenever somebody is about to die. Finally Robert dies without revealing his love for Alison who is also not able to confess her love for him. The episode was really an emotional rollercoaster and bought me to tears many times. It highlighted the fears and love of the two leading characters as well as their irony of not being able to confess their love to each other. It definitely stands out and deserves to be the best episode of the series.
