Afterlife

Season 1 begins with the meeting of two opposite poles, both being the main characters in the series. Alison, a psychic and Dr.Robert, a psychology professor, who doesn’t believe in the psychics. Dr. Robert is somewhat skeptical about her powers and decides to write a book on her. When to his surprise Alison claims that she has the spirit of his dead son Josh.

Alison through out the series is trying to help all those who want to know about their dead ones and personally is trying to find the answer to the question that why these spirits do keep coming back and haunt humans. It’s her past that was brought into focus in the last episode of the season. A train accident that had changed her life and she realizes that the survivors of those accident, were looking for her in order to help them communicate with their lost loved ones. While helping them, she and Robert come in contact with the afterlife, which will change their life, forever. The whole incident also puts Alison’s life in danger and she under goes coma.
